1:1 Technology Program
Students in grades 2-8 are issued a Chromebook at the beginning of the school year. Students use their personal chromebooks for classwork, projects, differentiated instruction, homework and more. Our PreK-1 students are 1:1 with iPads and use them in centers, individualized instruction, and more!
Rigor and Engagement
Our students engage in Project-Based Learning, a practice in which students are active participants in their own learning. PBLs require students to apply their knowledge by solving real-world problems, conducting investigations and research all while encouraging student voice and choice.
Differentiated Instruction
Our teachers observe and understand the learning differences and similarities among our students and use this information to plan instruction. This approach, through an RTI lens, allows our teachers to meet students where they are and help them to move forward. Students attend a weekly Math and Language Arts WIN (What I Need) class where they are grouped by their mastery of the standard being taught in class, ensuring all students are being challenged and growing as learners.
