Parent-Teacher Organization
Welcome to the Notre Dame Academy PTO
Join us for the first meeting of the school year!
Wednesday, August 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room
We’re glad you found us! We hope you’ll join us in having an active role in creating an environment that your
children can grow and excel within.
The NDA Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a combination of parents, teachers and staff who collaborate to support our students, as well as each other. Our PTO strives to assist our teachers in connecting academic learning with social growth and development, in and out of the classroom, for students across the grade levels.
Parent and family involvement at school has major benefits for children, and we welcome and encourage any family member to work alongside us. Attending monthly meetings and volunteering for events are also great ways to meet new families and form lasting friendships. Sharing your creativity and donating your time directly enhance the education experience NDA is able to provide our students.
We look forward to the opportunity to get to know you! Join us for monthly PTO meetings, which are held on the second Wednesday of each month during the school year at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Lawrence Community Room.
Say hi to us on Facebook! We want to keep you up to date with fundraisers, volunteer opportunities and more. Click here to join our newly launched NDA PTO Facebook group.
NDA PTO Mission Statement
The NDA PTO is a nonprofit parent/teacher organization, and includes parents and staff of NDA. The PTO mission is to promote open communication and understanding between the parents and staff of NDA. It is our belief that the team effort of a PTO offers the best possible learning environment for our students.
The objective of the association is to support NDA, and to raise parents’ awareness and promote family involvement. The NDA PTO raises funds through a variety of projects and activities, to help with supplemental educational materials.
It takes a lot of work and a lot of volunteers, but it is for our most valued resource – our students.
